What we do and where we do it
With a home in Pennsylvania, New York, and New Jersey, and a service area extending from Chicago to Boston, we pride ourselves in delivering turnaround and development strategies for our clients' most complex problems.
Dozens of cities, counties, towns, states, and school districts have turned to our team to help them through difficult times, build a path towards a new economy, and develop strategies to achieve stability and thrive.
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, we approach each assignment as an extension of our mission: to make government work for every member of the community efficiently, equitably, and justly.
A tradition of innovation since 1936
Our values haven't changed since our founding as an organization to help communities rebuild from the worst of the Great Depression. Since then, we've supported hundreds of communities and schools through tough times and set them on a course for steady and strong growth.
Our non-profit governance and advisory structure is made up of a series of committees representing different regions and leaders from a variety of sectors. With a strong coalition in Pennsylvania built from several decades of organizing across the state, beginning in 2019, we are forming our first New York and New Jersey based committees.
